MICHELE DONDI
ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Michele Dondi, Communication Designer and Junior Art Director born in 1997 in Fidenza.
My journey into design has been shaped by both words and images: I first studied Foreign Languages and Literatures at the Università degli Studi di Milano, and later pursued a Bachelor’s in Communication Design at Politecnico di Milano. This mix of humanities and design has given me a multidisciplinary approach that I bring into every project.
Since 2023 I’ve been working with Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte as a Graphic Designer and Project Manager for Doppia Firma at Milan Design Week. Here I take care of graphic identities while coordinating designers, artisans, and institutions in a cultural project that bridges tradition and innovation.
During my time at Politecnico, I also collaborated with POLIPO Magazine, creating illustrations and infographics, which deepened my interest in editorial design and visual storytelling. Alongside professional experiences, I’ve been active in volunteering with Banco Alimentare ONLUS and Emmaus in Kharkiv, supporting children with disabilities — experiences that shaped my sense of responsibility and community.
I work mainly with the Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, moving across graphic design, editorial projects, animation, and video editing. I love exploring different languages — not only visual but also spoken ones: I’m fluent in Italian and English, and I’ve studied French, Portuguese, German, and Spanish.
Beyond design, I’m passionate about music, art, and literature, and I like to bring these influences into my creative process. For me, design is not just about aesthetics but about building connections — between ideas, people, and cultures.
